Great tips for conducting meetings
If you're giving presentations, training sessions or any other types of meetings, there are some great tips that you can use to improve the quality of your sessions. For instance, if you're looking to eliminate disruptive behaviour in your meetings, you can make use of a co-facilitator who can focus on the unruly participant while you remain focused on the actual content.
If you're looking to eliminate silence in your meetings (e.g., to make your participants actually participate), a great way to do this would be to tell your class/group to: "Turn to the person seated next to you and discuss this issue." Surprisingly, what you'll usually get is an interactive group discussion that your participants might have think you had planned all along.
These helpful tips (and a whole lot more) can be found on the Thiagi Group website.
